Colton Shane Out; Cory Summers In | January 20, 2012
We have been told that Colton Shane will not be present at Texas Elite 2012 on January 29th and therefore will not be the partner of Mongoose against the TEW Champion Jason Skyy and Joey Corman. We have been informed by the TEW CEO Maxx Lavaro that he has granted
Cory Summers to take the place of Colton Shane. When we asked if Cory Summers would still face Sean Cordova in singles action Maxx Lavaro said that due to the TEW President Jason Skyy making that specific match he could not change it.
It now seems that the 2011 Texas Elite Winner Cory Summers will
now have TWO chances to get into the 6-Way Elimination Match Main Event!

Brand New Irvine Insight | December 13, 2011
Our TEW Journalist, Matt Irvine, has released a brand new report that he is calling the "Irvine Insight." He gives a through rundown of the complete line-up of Texas Elite 2012. We would like to encourage everyone to read the article
before we return for the new year on January 29, 2012.
He speaks about all the matches and what makes each of them important. He also talks about the five hundred dollar bounty that Mongoose has placed on Hunter Dude Preston. All this and more on the brand new Irvine Insight! Go check it out!
Texas Elite Wrestling will return in 2012 on January 29th as we present "Texas Elite 2012." This show has been featured as a tournament-based event with one person being crowned as the Texas Elite Winner. The last few years we have cut back on the single elimination tournament and focused on 10-Man Tag-Team Elimination Matches. 2012 will be different. We will have a total of five matches with the winners meeting in a 6-Way Elimination Match main event. With this idea there will be two singles matches, one tag-team match, one triple threat match and one four-way match.
All the matches have been announced and we would like to thank Christopher Moore of Geek Artz for the awesome match preview banners!
Mongoose Issues Bounty On HDP | November 10, 2011
-We have gotten word that Mongoose is none too happy about his Innovation Title loss at Battlefield to Hunter Dude Preston. Both Colton Shane and Cory Summers saw a very enraged Mongoose in the backstage after the event. Our backstage reporter tried to speak with the Pretty Young Things, but was rushed out of the area. Today we have received an email from Mongoose with this statement:
“Due to the new President Jason Skyy, I have been told that both Colton Shane and I are not eligible to have a rematch until we prove our worth. Our worth? Who does he think he is? I am Mongoose. I am a Grand Slam Champion! Every title that Texas Elite Wrestling has ever had, I held them all! I even held the Southern Title that was retired back in 2005. So if Jason Skyy won't allow me to get my automatic rematch clause, what I can do is this. Starting on January 29th, I am throwing out a bounty on Hunter Dude Preston. Whoever can take him out and get the Innovation Championship away from his grasp will collect five hundred dollars.”
This has never happened before in Texas Elite Wrestling and we have certainly never seen Mongoose in this light before. We have spoken to the newly signed President, Jason Skyy, and he fully acknowledges the bounty prize and has canceled the scheduled contest between Hunter Dude Preston and Cory Summers and has since booked a special tag-team match with the Innovation Champion Hunter Dude Preston teaming alongside the Elite Champion Payne to take on Ultimo & Excelente Astro. This is to ensure that Hunter Dude Preston will have backup in the event of some sort of sabotage from the Pretty Young Things.
Jason Skyy On Top Of TEW | November 7, 2011
-“The Misfit” Jason Skyy drew the unlucky number one in the #1 Contender’s Battle Royal, but he definitely made the most of it as he battled sixteen individuals and walked out winning the entire battle royal. After several minutes the match came down to Jason Skyy, Mongoose, Chris Preston and Maxx Lavaro. Chris Preston was taken out by Mongoose which left both enemies of Jason Skyy left in the ring. It seemed like it would be an uphill battle for the misfit, but he persevered and eliminated both competitors and won the battle royal to get the TEW Heavyweight Championship shot against the champion Colton Shane. After the match, Colton Shane stood on the outside of the ring and taunted Jason Skyy with the TEW Heavyweight Championship. Sean Cordova came to the ring and gave over his rights as the TEW President to Jason Skyy.
Later in the main event, Colton Shane came to the ring alone without Mongoose or Cory Summers and placed the title on the line. Jason Skyy came into the ring prepared and focused. Jason Skyy hadn’t been the TEW Title picture since 2006 and he had vowed that this was his first opportunity and he wasn’t going out without fighting. He proved to the fans and wrestlers alike that this year definitely belonged to him with all the battles he had with Sean Cordova and Colton Shane and the TEW Heavyweight Title was his next target.
This was Colton Shane’s third title defense and he didn’t take the match lightly at all. His mission was to embarrass Jason Skyy and leave as the champion, but that plan was abruptly changed when Jason Skyy came off the top rope with a Senton onto Colton Shane to win the TEW Heavyweight Championship. We would like to congratulate Jason Skyy on the huge win.
HDP Wins Innovation Title | November 7, 2011
-In the semi-main event of Battlefield 2011, Mongoose defended the Innovation Title against Hunter Dude Preston or simply known as HDP. This was his fifth title defense since winning the gold on March 20, 2011. This was actually a rematch from Respect Thy Enemy on August 21, 2011 when Colton Shane cost Hunter Dude Preston the match. This time Mongoose came out alone as Colton Shane had to concentrate on defending his TEW Title later in the night.
In two years, Hunter Dude Preston has held the Elite Title and we spoke to him before the match and all he had to say was that whatever happened in the night he knew that this had to be the day to send Mongoose and the Pretty Young Things off their pedestal. His promise came true as he pinned Mongoose’s shoulders down to the mat for the three count to win the Innovation Title. We would like to congratulate Hunter Dude Preston on the second title victory in his Texas Elite Wrestling career.
Khan Confronts Court Caution & Chris Preston | November 7, 2011
-On November 6th at Battlefield 2011 we once again saw "Big Killa" Khan make his presence known as he interfered in the match of Chris Preston & Court Caution taking on Colton Shane & Cory Summers. In the middle of the match Colton Shane, who was the legal man at the time, was outside of the ring "Big Killa" Khan came out and kicked him square in the groin which immediately resulted in a disqualification giving the win to the Pretty Young Things.
Now with Khan back as a full-time roster member, it seems that he is playing mind games to the Tag-Team Champions. The reason behind the mind games seems to stem from not being thanked by Court Caution, but we believe there is more to this rivalry.
Khan and Court Caution have a storied past and below we have uploaded a video of what happened minutes after the match concluded.
Connection Between Kross & Lavaro Still In Question | November 7, 2011
-On October 2nd after the match between Maxx Lavaro & Gemini against Mykal Kross & Khan, Mykal Kross attacked Maxx Lavaro and sent him crashing down in the canvas. Afterwards, it seemed as if Kross whispered something into the ear of Maxx Lavaro. Later in the night, Maxx Lavaro did the unthinkable and turned on his ally Jason Skyy for what seemed like no reason at all.
On November 6th at Battlefield 2011, Maxx Lavaro as the CEO of Texas Elite Wrestling placed himself in a triple threat tag-team match teaming with Mykal Kross against the team of Joey Corman & Jason Skyy known as Static Age and a team that substituted for Tex-Mex Connection, due to Fantastico's concussion, Payne and Sean Cordova. With aid from Pretty Young Things who distracted Joey Corman and Jason Skyy, the newly formed tag-team of Mykal Kross and Maxx Lavaro picked up the victory.
Many questions still remain unanswered and we hope to find out more; however, what we do know is that the team does have a name for themselves - CEO which according to Mykal Kross is an acronym meaning Cross Everyone Out. On December 4th the team will receive a Tag-Team Title shot against Court Caution & Chris Preston.
